Ark Fashion Brand!

Hello all!! Today I will be doing something a little different. I will be featuring a fashion brand known as Ark. Ark is based in the UK, with lots of fashion trends/styles not to far from my own USA style of choice. Some of it has a punk feel, a laid bad Cali type of feel; basically any look you want, the Ark can capture. 

They feature a number of brands, which include, but are not limited to: Hearts & Bows, Vera Moda, Dr. Denim and Lavis Ali. I have the pleasure of featuring from Hearts & Bows. Today’s product will be the high waisted legging. Leggings are all the rave and can be worn for a relaxed and laid back Saturday afternoon or a glitz and glam Saturday night.

You can throw them on with your favorite pair of fuzzy boots and an oversized sweater for the more casual look. Or grab a pair of booties, a fitted crop top or tank top and a faux fur vest! Voila! It's my Birthday!!

Hello all!! This past Sunday was my Birthday!!! Wooohooo!! Last year in my twenties! :-) :-( Mixed emotions about that lol. As the saying goes, your only as old as you act/feel. So I'm not worried about a thing!! :-) Been celebrating sine last weekend, but not much partying/clubbing; just hanging out and doing some firsts before, dare I say…. 30! Apparently everyone knows me all too well, because it was non stop breakfasts, dinners and lunches! :-) No complaints here. Any who, here's the outfit I wore on my actual Birthday to a Hibachi Restaurant. A little sparkle, a little ruching, a little heel & a little fancy jewelry and you have casual glam! lol I didn't want to be to dressy or too sexy and jeans with a heel is always a go to.

Jean Dress

Hello all!! The snow is upon us again!! Hope everyone made it around safely, it was pretty crazy out there yesterday. I hate for it to snow, but I got a day off from work, so that was a plus lol. Everything  looks like its pretty much almost back to normal today. Any who! I have been dying for a jean dress, don't ask why, because I have no clue! Since I'm long and thing among there things, they basically don't fit me correctly. Until I found this beauty with a belt; it was perfection! The belt accentuates or gives the illusion of curves. The sleeves have the option to be long sleeve or 3/4 sleeve, I prefer 3/4. Originally wanted to do a high heel knee high boot, but opted for a flat bootie. Went a little more relaxed, Cali style. :-)

Black & White Houndstooth

Hello all!!  One more day till the weekend! I have never been so happy for a Friday! It's been long week at the office. Any who, I have been dying for a hounds tooth skirt or dress. I originally wanted a brown and beige/cream pattern, but my size was never available. :-( I opted to settle for black and white; not so bad after all. Never really have ben a fan of the loosely fitted blouses, but I am getting the hang of them. Since the skirt was fitted and sort of high waisted, I wanted to go with a loose top. That kind of balances out the frame of the fit with my body structure and the skirt pattern.  The belt was a duo with a skirtIf you noticed, I did change my necklace. The long necklace didn't sit where I thought it would. Felt I should go with something shorter so my accessories didn't clash with my hardware on the clothing.  I didn't do too much, kept it simple and sleek.

Who's got the Blues?

Hello all!! Hows this rainy day treating everyone?? Hate that its raining, but I'd rather have "warmer" temps and zero snow; so ill take this rain any day. I think we can all agree it's much better than the arctic blast we all experienced last week! Any who, if you don't know, my favorite color is blue and I just had to have this top when I saw it! BUT I found  a large first and searched high & low through out the store for an x-small! Yaaaay! :-) lol Decided to stay simple and basic within the color scheme, but added a little contrast of color using silver, clear, and white toned jewelry. P.S. My nails were coincidently  a shade of blue at the time.

Preppy Edge

Hello all and Happy New Year!! I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and now is planning or in action for  a better successful you! Do we still have resolutions?? I don't actually have resolutions, just a few things I want to do more or less of, to make me a better ME as well as a few things to accomplish! If things weren't join quite well for you, leave the negativity in the past and start fresh with positiveness for the New Year! Any who, decided to go a little relaxed and casual for NYE. It seems as though everything came so fast, I wasn't really into all the glitz, glam and heels this time around. The fit is mixed with a little edge, preppy & sophistication.
