Coral Love

Hello all! Its been a couple days! How is everyone doing?! The heat wave is finally gone and now we can enjoy "normal" summer days, whatever that consists of . lol I love summer and the sun, but those scorcher days are something else! Always wanted one of these summer knitted tops & finally found one! I should've gotten all 3 colors, but sadly enough I opted out. :-( Any who, just a little something easy, breezy for these not so hot days!

Think I went a little coral crazy, 

but its somewhat of a balance.

The shoe isn't an "exact" match, 

but it works head to toe!

This has to be one of my favorite necklaces;

from NY&Co a few years ago.

Split Decision

Hello all!! This heat wave is almost over! How's everyone handling it? Though I have the comfort of the AC while at work, I do want to be on a beach laying in the sand or jumping the waves! lol Any who, this dress has a very weird design, but the colors are cool. A lot of my favorite color blue mixed with my least favorite color pink lol. Yeah, i know, a girl who doesn't like pink :shrugs:.  An overall fun, sophisticated look.

Kept the jewelry and shoes dark.

Didn't want them to clash with the jacket.

Balanced off the rest of the color

scheme with a dark pink shrug blazer.

Have You Seen Her?

Hello all!! Another one for the books! This is getting me too excited! lol Finally finding dresses that actually work for me and not against me. The fit is peeerrfect! I love the bright color and the black piping that adds an extra dynamic to the dress. Cute, sexy and sophisticated!

Kept the jewelry very simple & added a small

 touch of extra color w/ the white from the ring.

The black piping adds nice detail,

while also accentuating the body.

Clear Blue Skies

Hello all!! How is this heat wave treating you all!? It sure is a doozy, but I'm taking it in stride. Don't forget to wear your lightweight, light colored, loose fitting clothing! Fell in love with this shirt at first look. Cute, girly, high-low, peplum with intricate detail. Feeling like the sky, clear and blue.

If you noticed, I changed my shoe.

After careful consideration, the shoe

and the top did not work for me.

I have been dying to wear this purse.

After I forgot I had it of course!

It's a bit old tho, from Mandees.

Brings more color & fun to the fit.

Back detail has a medium keyhole,

revealing just enough skin. My hair

camouflaged the keyhole, which allowed 

the shirt to be appropriate for work!

Gold Mine

Hello all!! How is everyone!? Today was a long stressful work day. No clue how I am functioning right now because I just want to pass out. :-( Before I self destruct, here's a little info.... I think I went a little gold crazy, but I like it! It's actually a soft shade and not a bold in your face shade of gold. I think that is why it worked so well.

The shirt is adorned in gold glitter

3D like polka dots.

One of my favorite pair of shoes.

High, but comfy and I can run in them. :-)

A few years old too, by Calvin Klein.

So into the pattern mix & match.

Especially polka dots and stripes!

50s Inspired

Hello all!! I'm back from a much needed 4 day weekend. Didn't get much sleep, but I enjoyed every bit of it! Hope everyone as safe and enjoyed their holiday and weekend as well. I've had this dress for a few years now, but only wore it about twice. It has a side zipper and I don't get along with zippers. I was actually thinking about giving it away, but I love the silhouette and fit of it. Today I realized it reminded me of the 50s! A fitted waist, flowing bottom skirt and polka dots! Instead of a ponytail, decided to let the hair flow to one side. I had a thing for that era with the crinoline underskirt (petticoat), poodle skirts, polka dots and saddle shoes....happiness! :-) Didn't want to let go of my saddle shoes as a kid and since they have arrived again with old and new looks I didn't have to.

I don't have any crinoline, but

the flow/shape is there.

Only if I had a saddle shoe to compliment. ;-)
