Miami I Miss You!

Hello all!! How are you guys doing?! How is the new year going so far?? Its seems like yesterday I was screaming Happy NewYear, but our first month is coming to and end very soon! Any who, its very cold, bitter, icy and snowy here in the Northeast and I would give anything to be Southeast in Miami!! Even though its a bit cooler there than usual, I'd take 50/60 degrees over 15-20 degrees any day! I thought this was a perfect time to wear the souvenir I purchased for myself this past summer. It brings the perfect fun, color and life to these dreary, cold winter days. Paired with boyfriend jeans and Uggs, the look is tied together to keep you warm.

M.I.A. LIV

Hello all!! How are you guys doing?! Took a little time off for some time in ATL! Went to visit one of my teammates from college. :-) Fun times were had in Atlanta, I will be sharing my time in Atlanta with you guys as well. Any who, took a break in my Miami diaries with just one post left. My last night in the Sunshine state, I went to the infamous LIV on Sunday! The longest line I have ever seen to get into a club, but somehow we managed to get right in. Fell in love with these shorts when I saw them, not sure why lol, but I just had to have them. Thinking its the Aztec print, which I originally wanted to wear a red top with, but that didn't quite work out well with purchasing decisions. Now, I see the style of first choice tops were wrong and this style, even though its black was a better fit for the look after all.  I have no clue why I added the two belts, but I think they add a nice touch!  What do you think?!

M.I.A. Nikki Beach Dinner

Hello all!! Happy hump day!! The week is almost over for you guys, you can do it! However, today is my Friday, so its off to ATL for me!! :-) Anyone who, wore this little number for dinner at the infamous Nikki Beach with the girlies. Originally we wanted do brunch, but the day got away from us and it turned into dinner. :-) Was going for a modern, classy look. Love the fit of the dress, too bad I missed the other colors in my size. :-( Adorned with gold & pearl accessories and tan wedges. Greens and neutrals are one of my many favorite color combos. Topped the look off with a brown shoulder bag to contrast with the tan in the wedge. Only thing I was missing was at hat! Next time! :-)

M.I.A. Random Nights

Hello all!! How are all my fashionistas and fashionistos doing?? Yep, I just typed the male version of the word. Not sure if its been used yet, but Ive never seen it. lol Any who, heres another fit I'm sharing from my Miami trip. I absolutely adore these boyfriend shorts and tube top. Snagged these shorts from Old Navy on sale for $12! I want to go back and get the various styles/washes in the boyfriend category. Back to the fit; I've never really been a fan of showing too much skin. The rule I live by is, if you show skin up top, cover the bottom and vice versa. Since my stomach is barely exposed, I didn't break my rule. lol :-) Added a wedge to lengthen my legs, as if I need help in that area. The orange shoulder bag brightens up the look, enhancing the floral specks of orange in the top. One of my random nights on the beach, casual and cute. :-)

Denim on Denim!

Hello all! Happy partly sunny hot summer Thursday North Easterners and of course everyone else!! If  you follow me on Instagram, you know I was away in the Sunshine State, Miami!! Took a couple days off to spend some time with the girls and relax. Sun, sand, ocean water, bikinis, free breakfast, fish bowl drinks, partying 'till the sun comes up and hot bodies :-), among other things lol to name a few. Oh how I miss thee already, but reality must resume at some point! Sooner than later i'll be posting about my time there. Any who, Here's an outfit from a weeknd where the temps were not too hot, not too cold. What happened to those days?! But I will not complain because it can be snowing for 3 days straight instead. lol Ive always loved the denim on denim look; from denim sets to randomly paring denim items together. It started as a kid, so blame my mom for the madness. Here, I decided to pair dark wash faded denim with light wash bleached out denim. Paring the two with a little color to brighten the look. Thought the knot in the top would add a little sex appeal while still keeping the look simple and fun.
