Happy Independence Day!

Hi all!! Stars, stripes and more stars! Happy 4th of July! Be safe and enjoy the day. Just a real chill and relaxed look today, with great emphasis on the holiday. A nice pair of fitted shorts and a great tank can go a long way and you can always dress it up or down; juts like a pair of jeans. Also went minimal on the jewelry, didn't feel it was necessary; only a ring and some studs complete the look.

Racerback tanks are my favorite!

Think the bleached out stars are so cute!

And they fit really nice.

The smiley face flag combo drew me to this tank.

Check Mate

Hello all!! Happy July 1st! Did everyone enjoy their weekend? June sure did end with a bang, hot and pop up rain. It reminded me of a Florida day; you never know what you are going to get and for how long. Indulging in my favorite color again, along with some trends; ruffles and sheer. Never realized how many blue pieces I own. Instead doing the usual black/white, grey/white, grey/black, I decided to add some fun to the pant with texture, pattern and color from the shirt.

Can't remember if I mentioned this before, 

but I was ecstatic when I found these shoes.

You rarely find cute blue shoes.

Not to mention I had a lot of pieces to wear them with! :-)

Don't really like the fact that the pattern isn't

lined up. (Pet peeve) Literally noticed after looking through the pics.

Still one of my fave shirts though because of the colors.

Ruffle Sleeves

Hello all!! Is it hot enough for everyone yet!? I know it is for me, but summer time is fun time for me! :-).  Just glad I have air conditioning at work, even though I need my heater cuz it gets a bit too chilly.  Any who, First glance because of the color, I wanted this top, but then i saw the shape & thought naaaah. I tend to stay away from boxy or no shape tops; mainly because of my build (slim, small bust) lol. To my surprise when I tried it on, it was a thumbs up! Thought I'd pair it with a capri pant and voila! Is capri pant an oxymoron??

Another browns/blues mixture :-)

I like the ruffle detail on the sleeves

of the shirt. Think they Add a more 

girlyangelic look to the ensemble.

Orange Crush

Hello all!! A little business casual, but instead of an ordinary or plain pump, I added a floral wedge to spice it up a bit. I like that fact that u can spice up "boring" office attire; whether it be shoes, jewelry, or a top.

The side detail of the skirt enhances 

the body's natural curves.

The shoes makes the whole outfit pop!

Sassy in Stripes

Hello all!! Found another dress, woot woot!! lol I love dresses, but as I mentioned before I have trouble finding "the perfect fit" for me. This is sort of a grecian style inspired dress, which I often have trouble with, but decided to try it on anyway. To my surprise, it fit; not peeerrfect, but it works. I was unsure of which color accessories (shoes & jewelry) to use, which were (black, gold or cream). Since it is a girly flirty dress, I decided on the nude/cream (w/ gold accents) to add some "light" and to go with the sunny day.

The dess is sheer, but has an inner lining.

I omitted the necklace from the ensemble.

Thought the dress neckline was too

for this particular necklace.

The back detail has a medium to large keyhole.

You can adjust the keyhole space

by tying the strings loose or tight.

Also works well for the bust area.

First Day of Summer

Hello all! Today's the first day of summer!! Is everyone as excited as I am?! Eventhough the weather has been pretty much summer appropriate, now we get at least 15hrs of sunshine! :-) Are we all fashionably ready, I hope so?! It's all about being cool & comfy! Decided to pair neutral tones with a pop of color, which were my pants. I'm loving this color combo! Blues and browns have become one of fave mixtures.

I actually switched bracelets.

Wanted to add more texture and color.

Adding hints of color to a neutral

palette is a great way to spice it up.

Ex: purse, jewelry, shoe

Love how the shoes and bag blend.

This was a mistake. I just wanted

to wear my bag today.
