Sassy in Stripes

Hello all!! Found another dress, woot woot!! lol I love dresses, but as I mentioned before I have trouble finding "the perfect fit" for me. This is sort of a grecian style inspired dress, which I often have trouble with, but decided to try it on anyway. To my surprise, it fit; not peeerrfect, but it works. I was unsure of which color accessories (shoes & jewelry) to use, which were (black, gold or cream). Since it is a girly flirty dress, I decided on the nude/cream (w/ gold accents) to add some "light" and to go with the sunny day.

The dess is sheer, but has an inner lining.

I omitted the necklace from the ensemble.

Thought the dress neckline was too

for this particular necklace.

The back detail has a medium to large keyhole.

You can adjust the keyhole space

by tying the strings loose or tight.

Also works well for the bust area.

First Day of Summer

Hello all! Today's the first day of summer!! Is everyone as excited as I am?! Eventhough the weather has been pretty much summer appropriate, now we get at least 15hrs of sunshine! :-) Are we all fashionably ready, I hope so?! It's all about being cool & comfy! Decided to pair neutral tones with a pop of color, which were my pants. I'm loving this color combo! Blues and browns have become one of fave mixtures.

I actually switched bracelets.

Wanted to add more texture and color.

Adding hints of color to a neutral

palette is a great way to spice it up.

Ex: purse, jewelry, shoe

Love how the shoes and bag blend.

This was a mistake. I just wanted

to wear my bag today.

Floral & Lace

Hi all!! It has been a while.  I'm okay, just wasn't feeling last week; the weather was horrible and I was extremely tired.  June seems to be the month EVERYONE was born lol, so today I'll be partaking in a couple birthday shindigs. Not sure if I stated this before, but I'm really not a floral girl, in any sense. This shirt which was purchased about 2 yrs ago was my first floral buy. It took me about a year to wear it. LOL It was just something girly and romantic about it. Any who, love the shirt and floral now! :-)

Dark denim contrasts the look a little.

Hello Flamingo

Hello all! Feeling a bit funky... I've worn the colored jeans, capris and shorts, but not dress pants. So decided to give it a try and it pink nonetheless.  If you know me,  you know about my relationship with pink, but it's getting better! lol I originally wanted to wear a black bottom with this shirt and pink shoes, but I found these pants before I found some shoes & BOOM.

Couldn't decide on a shoe,

but I felt it went better with the closed toe.

These shoes are one of my faves, had them for a while.

Red White & Blue

Hello all!! How's the week going so far for everyone? I hope good, but as for me, I need to go back on vacation lol. On the other hand, I can't complain because things could be a lot worse. I am happy to be alive and well! :-) A little salute this past holiday. (It wasn't planned)
